Orreaga-Roncesvalles sees hundreds of pilgrims pass by every year in his mission to travel the Way of Saint James, more specifically the French Way, following in the footsteps of the famous Carlo Magno after losing his precious Roldan in a singular battle. This hiking route puts us in the skin of the pilgrim climbing up to the pass of Leopoeder and then visit the Alto de Ibañeta and return to Roncesvalles following at all times the route of the stage of the Way that comes from Saint Jean Pied de Port.
