Inestrillas

A little more history

Inestrillas is a locality of unquestionable beauty and great historical significance, with clear remains of Arab culture and Moorish constructions attached to the mountain.

To discover What to see in Inestrillas?

If Inestrillas is old in time, so is the town, which the locals call Clunia and whose origins lead us to the Neolithic, Contrebia Leucade. The parish church, from the 16th century and curiously attached to the mountain; the hermitage of San Antonio, baroque; and the Virgen del Prado hermitage, also baroque, which is close to the oldest Icnitas archaeological site in La Rioja; all this together with its natural values, such as the Alcarama mountain range, the Añamaza reservoir, the Alhama and Añamaza meadows, and the Green Way, ensure a heritage of unquestionable value.
